A GRAND EXPERIENCE
Something grand happened in my life
I am singing, rocking, lisping
And I am trying hard to please.

Two little eyes, struggling to focus
Yet intent in demand
His language is not strange.

A new lease to life
Something grand in my life
A new love to hold, little feet to walk my way.

As my eyes meet his gaze
He fades a smile and dozes off
Leaving me amazed at the grand wonder

The wonder that made me a grand mother
For he is my GRAND son
Something grand happened to me.
